(Manhattan, NY) -- Deliberations are expected to begin today in the trial of former SUNY Polytechnic C-E-O Alain Kaloyeros.
He, along with developers from Syracuse and Buffalo, are accused of bid-rigging involving some of Governor Andrew Cuomo's economic development initiatives. During closing arguments, attorneys for Kaloyeros and his co-defendants said prosecutors have no proof the men took part in cover-ups or any other crimes. Prosecutors asked jurors to follow the lies the defendants allegedly took part in and find them guilty.
