(New York, NY)) -- New York City is set to honor late Steely Dan co-founder Walter Becker with a street in his native Queens named in his honor.
The corner of the street where Becker grew up, 112th Street and 72nd Drive, will be renamed Walter Becker Way at a ceremony on October 28th. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer died on September 3rd, 2017 after a battle with esophageal cancer. Steely Dan got their start at Bard College in Dutchess County.
