(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo was in Poughkeepsie today attending a rally with Planned Parenthood supporters.
The Governor wants the Republican controlled State Senate to reconvene in Special Session to vote on legislation making Roe versus Wade a law in New York. Cuomo says he fears President Trump's pick for the U.S. Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh will try to overturn Roe versus Wade. The governor recently signed an executive order that protects a woman's right to choose and to get contraceptive care.
