(New York, NY) -- There are guilty verdicts in the Buffalo Billion federal corruption trial.
Manhattan jurors found Alain Kaloyeros, a SUNY Polytechnic founder, guilty of bid-rigging on Thursday in Governor Cuomo's signature Upstate revitalization project. The jury also found Buffalo developer Lou Ciminelli and Syracuse developers Steve Aiello and Joe Gerardi guilty. Prosecutors said Kaloyeros steered state contracts to the business honchos, all of whom were big donors to Cuomo's re-election campaign.
