(Albany, NY) -- Western Ulster County, including Ellenville, is under a Flash Flood Watch until Thursday at midnight.
The National Weather Service says over the last few days up to six inches of rain has already fallen in some spots and more rain is on the way. “Rainfall rates may exceed an inch an hour at times which maycause washouts of roads. “ The Weather Service says some minor flooding may also occur along some rivers, “but flash flooding is possible for small streams, creeks, and brooks, as well as in urban areas.”
