(Bronx, NY) -- The New York Yankees are bolstering their bullpen for the stretch run.
Multiple outlets report the Yankees have reached a deal to acquire former All-Star closer Zach Britton from the Baltimore Orioles. New York will send minor league pitchers Dillon Tate, Cody Carroll and Josh Rogers to the O's. Tate is ranked as the Yankees' ninth-best prospect by MLB Pipeline, while Carroll is ranked 15th. Britton has a 3.45 ERA in 16 games this season. He missed the start of the season with an Achilles injury.
