(Goshen, NY) -- LegoLand New York Resort held an open house yesterday to show off the site of the theme park under construction in Goshen.
Major land clearing and leveling has already taken place and construction should begin soon on some of the main elements of the world’s largest LegoLand Park. 30 million Lego Bricks will be used to construct 15,000 Lego Models that will be installed at the park. An opening for the theme park is scheduled for the spring of 2020.
Meanwhile, several Goshen residents are still battling LegoLand in court to try and stop the project. They say the theme park will negatively impact the character and environment of the neighborhood.
