(Albany, NY) -- Temperatures are going to be on the rise across the Hudson Valley today through Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says heat advisories are posted for Tuesday and Wednesday. The agency says the heat index at times could approach 100 degrees.
Officials are urging people in the Hudson Valley to drink plenty of water and stay inside as much as possible with the weather heating up. Highs will be in the 90's today through Wednesday. Governor Andrew Cuomo says people can visit pools, beaches, and cooling stations to try and stay comfortable.
