(West Nyack, NY) -- The Mario Cuomo Bridge across the Hudson River is set to fully open tomorrow.
But the proceedings will begin today as Governor Andrew Cuomo will hold a ceremony celebrating the completion of the structure. Newsday reports that former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton is going to speak at the event.
Right now both Rockland and Westchester bound traffic are using the span that opened last year. Late tonight, traffic will start shifting and by tomorrow, four lanes of traffic will have moved from one span to the other.
The four-billion-dollar bridge is replacing the Tappan Zee Bridge and is expected to help lessen traffic congestion in the area.
