(New York, NY) -- New York City police are stepping up patrols in Jewish neighborhoods for Rosh Hashanah.
NYPD beat cops and Counter Terrorism officers are increasing their presence with the Jewish New Year underway ending tomorrow evening. There will also be increased security next week for Yom Kippur the day of atonement. It begins September 18th at sundown and ends the following night.
