(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- There are some new milestones for the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation.
First the Foundation got news of a $35-thousand dollar state grant secured by State Senator Sue Serino. Then on September 30th they hold their 16th annual Community Walk at James Baird State Park. In October, the county leaders of Dutchess, Columbia, Ulster, Orange ,Putnam, Sullivan, Rockland and Westchester counties are declaring October 19th Miles of Hope Day.
The Miles of Hope Breast Cancer Foundation supports services, education and outreach for people affected by breast cancer in the Hudson Valley.
