(Newburgh, NY) -- A suspect is under arrest, accused of sexually assaulting a woman at gunpoint in Newburgh.
Cops nabbed 35-year-old Andre Sims yesterday afternoon after he originally got away following a police chase that included aviation and K-9 units Monday night. A woman claims Sims assaulted her with a gun, before fleeing in an SUV, at the Foundry, a Johnes Street apartment complex, around 10:30 that night. He is charged with felony rape and was set to be arraigned today.
