Keep An Eye On Hurricane Leslie

(Miami, FL) -- Leslie is now a hurricane in the central Atlantic.

Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center say Hurricane Leslie is stationary, about 500 miles east-southeast of Bermuda, with top winds of 75 miles an hour. Large swells generated by Leslie will continue to affect Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the southeastern U.S., including Florida.

The National Weather Service is warning of rough surf and dangerous rip currents on the state's beaches up and down the Atlantic coast.
