(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- Friday is the deadline to register to vote in the November 6th General Election.
Registrations by mail must be postmarked by Friday and arrive at the county Board of Elections by a week from today. The deadline for in-person registration is also Friday. The Dutchess County Board of Elections is located at 47 Cannon Street in Poughkeepsie, The Ulster County Board is located at 284 Wall Street in Kingston.
Locally there are two Congressional races and State Assembly and State Senate races on the ballots along with other contests.
