(New York, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo says help is on the way for people affected by Hurricane Michael.
The storm came ashore yesterday and has already caused extensive damage in the Florida Panhandle and surrounding region. The governor says dozens of New York National Guard soldiers will be on the ground to help with recovery efforts.
In recent weeks, the National Guard has also been in North and South Carolina to help victims of Hurricane Florence.
