(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- A motorcyclist from Poughkeepsie was killed yesterday when his bike struck an SUV on Route 55 in Lagrange.
State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks say it happened at about 6:30 yesterday morning when a motorcycle operated by 25 year old Kevin Sheehan was travelling at a high-rate of speed eastbound on 55 near Noxon Road and hit the SUV.
Responding troopers began life-saving measures, but Sheehan was later pronounced dead at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.
