Coldest Weather Of The Season Hits The Hudson Valley


(Poughkeepsie, NY)  --  The coldest weather of the season is hitting the Hudson Valley beginning today.  For the next several days temperature highs are predicted to be in the forties and some nights, temperatures will drop into the twenties.  Snow flurries are possible early next week. 

 Meanwhile, Dutchess and Ulster counties are under a Flood Watch from 6 tonight until 6 tomorrow morning.  From the National Weather Service alert:  “Rain, heavy at times will fall across the flood watch area Friday evening through late Friday night. A total of 1 to 1.5 inches is expected with isolated amounts over 2 inches.”
