(Flushing, NY) -- The NY Mets say Tim Tebow will be starting next season with the team's Triple A affiliate in Syracuse. This is the first year that the Mets farm club will be in Syracuse.
Tebow hit .273 with six home runs and 36 RBIs last year before breaking a bone in his hand. Tebow was batting .340 in July before he was injured.
The Heisman Trophy winner and former Jets Quarterback played in seven games for the Mets in spring training last year, collecting just one hit in 18 at bats.
