New Mexico Congressional Candidate Sues To Impound Ballots

New Mexico Republican Yvette Herrell is suing to impound thousands of absentee ballots from the New Mexico Second Congressional District midterm elections.  The New Mexico Secretary of State called the race for Democrat Xochitl Torres Small the night after election day last week .  Herrell says the 8.000 absentee ballots that suddenly surfaced after election night in Doña Ana County where Las Cruces is located need to be investigated just in case there is any impropriety.  Prior to the appearance of the thousands of extra ballots, Herrell was the projected winner.
