(Hyde Park, NY) -- It was a big Thanksgiving turkey giveaway yesterday at the Renaissance Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Staatsburg.
CEO Jack Koschitzki donated 265 turkeys, some go to his employees and others went to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff Butch Anderson says his department will distribute the turkeys to families in need around Dutchess County. He says the men and women of the Sheriff’s Department participate is several community outreach efforts during the holidays.
Renaissance Rehab also donated dozens of turkeys to the Giving Box, a Dutchess County food, clothing and toy bank available to those struggling with economic survival.
