(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- A man was shot in the head early this morning while on Main Street in Poughkeepsie.
City of Poughkeepsie Police say it happened just after midnight in front of 400 Main Street. The man was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police are still working to identify the victim. There were no witnesses in the area when officers arrived. However, there were people in the area when the incident occurred.
