Thousands Of Hudson Valley Shoppers Exposed To Measles

(Spring Valley, NY) -- Rockland County health officials believe thousands of holiday shoppers may have been exposed to the measles.

Rockland County Health Department workers say a person infected with measles visited the Best Buy at the Palisades Mall this past Saturday. The same person was also at Jalapa Express in Spring Valley on Saturday, as well as the Compare Foods supermarket in Spring Valley on Thanksgiving night.

At least 83 people in the county have come down with the virus. Most of them in the orthodox Jewish community.
