Poughkeepsie Man Charged With Nov.5th Murder


(Poughkeepsie, NY)  -- A 37 year old Poughkeepsie man is facing murder charges in the death of a man who was found shot and lying in the middle of the westbound arterial back on November 5th.  The victim was 20 year old Jaquain Johnson. 

Today, Terry Cherry was arraigned on a charge of Second Degree Murder. Since the day of the shooting Cherry has been in the Dutchess County Jail on a parole violation. City of Poughkeepsie Police ask anyone with information on the murder to call them at (845) 451-7577.
