(Rhinebeck, NY) -- A 20 year old woman from Vermont was killed in a two vehicle crash over the weekend on Route 9-G near Vlei Rd in the Town of Rhinebeck.
State Police say Emily Wootton died when her car was hit by an SUV driven by 35 year old Robert Dancy. Wootton was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dutchess County Medical Examinerâs Office.Dancy was transported with serious injuries to Westchester Medical Center.
The investigation is continuing. âHillside Fire Department, Rhinebeck Fire Department, and Northern Dutchess Paramedics were all on scene to render aid with the crash.â
