(Southeast, NY) -- A wrong-way head-on crash on Interstate 84 injures three people.
State Police from the East Fishkill barracks say it happened on Wednesday morning on the Exit 19 ramp when the driver of a Jeep SUV went the wrong way on the exit ramp and collided head-on into a pickup truck. Both drivers and a child in the pickup were taken to the hospital.
Police say they arrested 45 year old Christopher S. Franz of Broomall, PA, for Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, an unclassified misdemeanor.
