2018 Was A Rainy Year In The Hudson Valley

(Poughkeepsie, NY)  --  2018 was a rainy year in the Hudson Valley but it didn’t set any records.

According to the annual climate report for Poughkeepsie compiled by the National Weather Service, Poughkeepsie recorded just over 56 inches of precipitation last year which is about 10 inches more than normal but was not a record setter.

The record of just over 62 inches of precipitation in Poughkeepsie was set in 2011, that is the year that Tropical Storm Irene flooded upstate New York.
