(Stone Ridge, NY) -- Police are warning people in Ulster County about credit card skimmers.
Authorities say the devices were found at gas stations in Stone Ridge and Shokan. The skimmers are put on gas pumps and can be used to swipe card information and PIN numbers. Police urge anyone who sees a strange looking credit card reader to immediately tell the business. They also say it's smart to shield keypads when entering PIN numbers so it can't be seen by a hidden camera.
