(Albany, NY) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo is issuing a warning should state lawmakers approve the use of recreational marijuana.
Yesterday, he said any legislation should factor in the cost of the drug in other states and on the street. The governor says if the costs of legal marijuana in NY are too high, business will be driven back to other states where recreational marijuana is already legal. Studies show legalizing marijuana in New York could create a market worth billions of dollars.
