(New York, NY) -- Netflix shares are up more than six percent today on news the company is raising prices again.
The most popular plan, which is currently priced at eleven bucks a month, will jump to 13-dollars. Netflix's basic plan will go from eight to nine bucks, while the most expensive plan will go from 14-to-16 dollars.
The streaming service says the higher prices will take effect immediately for new customers. Current users will notice the increase on their bills over the next three months.
