Chicken Nuggets Recall

(New York, NY) -- Perdue Foods is recalling more than 68-thousand pounds of gluten-free chicken nuggets.

The nationwide recall is because of possible wood contamination. The Food and Drug Administration says Perdue discovered the problem when three customers complained about finding wood in the nuggets. There are no reports of anyone getting sick. The nuggets have an expiration date of October 25, 2019 and were shipped to stores all over the country.

The FDA is warning people to throw out the product or take them back to the store where they bought them.
