(Poughkeepsie, NY) -- The 2019 Empire State Winter Games Torch Relay is scheduled to make stops in Dutchess and Ulster counties tomorrow. The first stop is at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center at 6am, where McCann Ice Arena Academy skaters will help with the Torch Relay. Then another ceremony takes place at 7:30am at the Walkway Over the Hudson.
Torch stops are also scheduled for Belleayre Mountain, Windham Mountain and then at 4pm at the Saugerties Downtown Parade. The Torch is making its way from New York City to Lake Placid.
The 2019 Empire State Winter Games “will bring together athletes from across New York State and beyond to compete in over 30 winter sports events.” The games take place in the Adirondacks beginning Thursday and continuing through Sunday.
