3 Hudson Valley Boy Scout Leaders Accused Of Sexual Abuse

(Goshen, NY) -- Three Hudson Valley Boy Scout leaders are named in a lawsuit accusing them of sexual abuse.

A law firm representing various families claims the three are among nearly 200 scout leaders in New York and New Jersey who had inappropriate contact with children. The suit lists Edward Spear of Goshen, James Arthur Fross of Tivoli in Dutchess County, and Tyrone Charles Hughes in Suffern. The Boy Scouts of America has put out a statement apologizing to anyone harmed and saying they "care deeply about all victims of child sex abuse."
