Flu Cases Are Way Down In Dutchess & Ulster Counties


(Albany, NY)--The number of reported flu cases is continuing to plummet across New York. 

According to the health department, there were only one-thousand new cases of the virus reported during the week ending April 27th.  That's a nearly 48 percent drop from the week before. In Dutchess County last week there were only 2 cases of the flu reported and there were only 2 cases in Ulster County. Overall, 106-thousand New Yorkers have been treated for the flu this season.
