(Bear Mountain, NY) -- Two Hudson Valley state parks became so crowed over this past weekend that park police had turn people and cars away.
The beach in Lake Tiorati in Harriman State Park and the Bear Mountain State Park stopped accepting visitors just after 1 p.m. on Saturday. Both parks are routinely crowded on summer weekends, but this past Saturday and Sunday some people were turned away because of worries of dangerous overcrowding.
