(New York, NY)--The troubled Woodstock 50 Music Festival is officially cancelled.
Organizers announced yesterday that the festival hit a series of setbacks and it won't go on next month. Recently, Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Dead And Company and John Fogerty pulled out of the event after organizers said it was moving from New York to Maryland. The three-day festival was originally scheduled for August 16th through the 18th.
Meanwhile, Bethel Woods will still celebrate its anniversary with a smaller concert at its original site of the 1969 festival with Ringo Starr and Santana among the performers.
