(New York, NY) -- New Yorkers say they will continue to go about their day as normal as police search for the person who placed two rice cookers in a Lower Manhattan subway station. Governor Cuomo told a New York radio station this morning that the suspicion is that the items were placed there to appear like possible bombs or electronic devices.
The rice cookers that were found in the Fulton Street subway station and later in a trash can in Chelsea were not bombs. The NYPD has put out a description of a man they say placed the cookers in the subway station. Cops describe him as a tall, thin, light-skinned man wearing jeans and a blue t-shirt with a soccer ball image on the back, who was spotted pushing a shopping cart this morning.
