(Kingston, NY) -- A man who stole vials of a powerful opioid at gunpoint from Ellenville Regional Hospital last year is being acquitted of attempted murder.
Joshua Stuart fired his gun several times while being chased by police after fleeing with 18 vials of a narcotic pain medication. However, the 43-year-old was convicted of ten other charges in Ulster County Court Tuesday, including robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. Stuart has also been charged with felonies in New York City as well as three federal crimes.
