Anthony Bourdain Auction Benefits Scholarship At CIA In Hyde Park

(New York, NY) -- The auction of Anthony Bourdain memorabilia is bringing in more than one-million-dollars.

Items once owned by the celebrity chef and New Jersey native were auctioned off last month in East Harlem. His custom chef knife, made of steel and meteorite, sold for a record price of 230-thousand-dollars. Portions of the proceeds will benefit a scholarship at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, where Bourdain was a graduate.
