Thanksgiving Feasts Can Be Dangerous To Pets

(Gardena, CA) -- Thanksgiving feasts can be dangerous to pets.

Innovet Pet has released a list of things that may taste great to humans, but can actually be extremely harmful for dogs. Stuffing, for example, often contains ingredients that are toxic for dogs, like onions, garlic and wild mushrooms. Cooked turkey bones can splinter and tear up a dog's gastrointestinal system or get lodged in their teeth. Raisins, grapes, chocolate, pork and certain nuts are all considered high risk food items that we should be sure to keep away from our pets.
