Red Hook & Rhinebeck Get Buried

( Poughkeepsie, NY) -- The numbers are in from that long duration winter-like storm that began on Sunday and continued into this morning.

According to the National Weather Service in Albany in unofficial readings, Red Hook was on top of the heap with 16 inches of snow, while Rhinebeck wasn't far behind with 14.7 inches of the white stuff on the ground. Poughkeepsie checked in with nearly 11 inches and Wappingers Falls reported 8 inches of snow. In Ulster County, Phoenicia got 16 inches, Rosendale 14 inches and Kerhonkson 12 inches.
