Police I'D Man Who Died In Hudson Valley Park

(Harriman, NY) -- State Police say that the man who was found dead in Harriman State Park is 58-year-old Andrew Columbia.

They say he was riding an ATV up a steep hill near Regis Court when it flipped killing him. A father and his children came across Columbia's body Sunday morning. It took first responders about three-and-a-half hours to retrieve his body, which was about a mile deep into the woods. It's unclear how long his body had been there.

New York State Police were assisted by Village of Suffern Police Department, Ramapo Police Department, Parks Police and the Tallman Fire Department.
