Man With 'Crime Pays' Tattoo on Forehead Back in Jail

Crime still doesn't pay, despite the tattoo on one Indiana man's forehead says.

Donald Murray, 38, of Terre Haute Indiana, is back in jail after he allegedly led police on a short chase on Feb. 17. The man, who sports an enormous tattoo on his forehead that says "crime pays," was charged with several crimes, officials with the Terre Haute Police Department said.

"‪After a short pursuit this morning, THPD arrested Donald Murray. Murray was charged with resisting LE (felony), resisting LE (misdemeanor), reckless driving, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and auto theft," the Terre Haute Police Department wrote in a statement on Facebook.

Murray's mugshot and choice of tattoo became infamous a few months ago after he was featured on an episode of "Live PD," when he got into another chase with officers after they spotted him driving without his lights on. Murray crashed into a tree and escaped on foot, but was later apprehended by police. At the time, he allegedly told police he didn't know his name.

Murray was charged with resisting law enforcement, reckless driving, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and auto theft. He's currently being held on a $15,000 bond following his latest brush with the law and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
