The Van Heusen and Izod clothing stores at the Hudson Valley Towne Center in Fishkill will close permanently in 2021. Parent company Heritage Brands announced they will be downsizing their operation as part of a nationwide plan to close 162 stores and cut its staff by 12%, or close to 500 people.
Company president Stefan Larson said:
The COVID-19 crisis is dramatically reshaping the retail landscape in ways that we believe will be long-term in nature and far-reaching in terms of consumer purchasing behavior
In addition, the two outlet locations at Woodbury Commons in Central Valley will be closing their doors as well.
