A man was seriously huty in a motorcycle accident on Saturday evening along Route 9D in Fishkill. Police and fire crews were on the scene after they said the cyclist struck the rear of another vehicle traveling southbound.
There are unconfirmed reports that the man was unconscious when EMT's arrived and was said to have a severe laceration to his arm. He was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. His condition was said to be serious but he is expected to recover.
