While most of the Hudson Valley was under a Tornado Watch on Sunday evening, one actually touched down just over the Dutchess County border in Litchfield County, Ct. The twister was confirmed by the National Weather Service to have hit the area around 8:30pm Sunday.
Storm damage was reported with tree limbs and branches coming down in the surrounding area, in addition many were left without power.
