Baka Americana, which only opened about a year ago at 264 North Road Plaza, has closed. The future of the space is unclear, as a new sign above the restaurant reads 'Burgers and Boba'. Co-owner Marisa Fischer wouldn't elaborate much, aside to say they were looking at selling:
We were going to switch concepts due to import and shipping difficulties, but we are currently in the process of selling the space.
Baka Americana had specialized in Ramen dishes and Boba Teas.
