Poughkeepsie Police investigate fatal stabbing of Marine Corp vet

POUGHKEEPSIE – A 55-year-old Poughkeepsie man is the latest victim of violence in City of Poughkeepsie.
The man, who was stabbed several times in the area of 37 North Clinton Street at approximately 9:25 p.m. Friday, died at 1:25 a.m. Saturday after undergoing surgery at a local hospital.
The victim has been identified as Anthony Gray. He was a Marine Corp veteran living in Liberty Station, a shelter for veterans.
Police Captain Richard Wilson said that the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 845-451-7577 or submit the information online.  All tips are confidential. City Police will pay $250 to anyone who provides information that leads to the recovery of an illegal gun and $500 for information that leads to an arrest of a person possessing an illegal gun. All callers will remain anonymous.
