TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police in Troop F issued 985 vehicle and traffic law violation tickets during the January 8 weekend.
From 5 p.m. Friday, January 8, through 5 a.m. Monday, January 11, state troopers in Troop F issued tickets for 263 speeding violations, five distracted driving violations, 21 seatbelt violations, 18 child restraint violations, 13 move-over violations, and removed 25 impaired motorists from the roadway.
State Police also responded to 26 vehicle accidents.
Troop F includes Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, and Greene counties.
