Additional rape charges filed against Red Hook man

POUGHKEEPSIE – A Red Hook man has been charged with six counts of rape and other related charges following an investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office.
This is the third time in less than two months that Tyson Kreig, 40, was arrested on charges related to inappropriate sexual contact.
Kreig was arrested on Monday, February 22 at his residence on two counts of first-degree rape, one count of attempted first-degree rape, four counts of third-degree rape, one count of sexual abuse, and one count of criminal sexual assault.

All of the charges are felonies and are the result of several victims coming forward and filing complaints with the sheriff’s office.
Kreig was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond for each victim.
