Arrest warrants have been issued for three white men involved in the massive brawl at an Alabama riverfront dock that was caught on video, Montgomery Police said.

On Tuesday (August 8), Police Chief Darryl Albert announced that the three white suspects — 48-year-old Richard Roberts, Alan Todd, and 25-year-old Zachary Shipman — are facing charges of third-degree assault following the viral brawl, per TMZ.

One of them is already in custody, Albert said, and the other two are expected to turn themselves in for booking and processing.

According to videos of the incident, the massive brawl unfolded on Saturday (August 5) after a white assailant attacked a Black security guard on a dock at Riverfront Park in Montgomery. Videos show the security guard and assailant fighting before two more white men join in on the brawl.

At one point in the videos, the security guard can be seen on the ground and being struck by several men. Onlookers later jumped to the security guard's defense, with one person even swimming up to the dock to fight back against the assailants.

Multiple altercations ensued on the dock. Albert said Tuesday that 13 people were detained, brought in for questioning, and released following the brawl.

According to the police, an investigation into the incident remains ongoing. A man who appeared to be hitting people with a chair, identified as Reggie Gray, could still potentially face charges, Albert said.

Montgomery Police are also consulting with the FBI on possible hate crime charges, according to the chief.
